After RHS Rob graduated as a Philosophy major with a Russian Easter European Studies minor at Grinnell, He then studied at the National Theater Institute in Connecticut, The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and The Warsaw Academy of Acting. Following that he did what many actors have to do, go wherever the work is. Rob has worked on Broadway in LONDON ASSURANCE, in London in THE CHERRY ORCHARD and toured the country a bit. He had a brief stint in LA where he worked on MTV and did some commercials. In 1995, Rob joined the Neo-Futurists to do TOO MUCH LIGHT MAKES THE BABY GO BLIND and moved to Manhattan; he continues to write and perform in that ensemble, but after 8 years stepped down as the New York Neo-Futurists’ Managing Director and traveled on the Broadway national tour of ‘Peter And The Starcatcher’. Rob also works with Twist Film, a commercial production company, teaches masterclasses in performance and creativity, and, in a good year, he acts in a few commercials as well.
